I was kindly invited by The Landmark London to experience a taste of Christmas with them last week. One would be crazy to decline the offer to stay in one of London’s most luxurious hotels and there really is no place quite like London over Christmas. I haven’t stayed at a hotel over the christmas period for quite a few years now, as I started to believe there was no place like home over the festive season. However, admittedly I was wrong. The warmth, decor and christmas spirit at The Landmark London was magical. The Landmark London is situated in Marlyebone one of my favourite areas, which possess one of London’s most stylish high streets with a village feel only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. This allows The Landmark London’s guests to experience the best of both worlds. Thank you Landmark London for leaving me feeling Ho so festive!

The Landmark London is a sophisticated and classic British hotel. The grand hotel boasts a famous stunning six story atrium, where four statement palm trees stand. I can assure you, you have not seen a hotel entrance in London quite like this!  Not even photographs do it justice. Throughout the hotel there’s a distinctive design, with strong attention to detail which is what makes the hotel unique and sets it apart from various other classic hotels.  As I stayed during the festive season, I got the pleasure of witnessing the beautiful decorations, which were visually stunning! Although the hotel remains traditional, The Landmark London is well kept and extremely clean. The hotel also possess some of biggest suites of all London hotels.  I stayed in the Marylebone Suite which had a walk in entrance, sitting area, a  king size bed, two wide screen television’s, a good sized wardrobe with plenty of storage space (alas! a hotel which understands over packers) and a marble bathroom with a his and hers sink. Not forgetting the  divine complimentary chocolates and bowl of fruit on arrival – thats a way to win me over!

The Landmark London is renowned for it’s Sunday Champagne Brunch, which is hosted in their beautiful Winter Garden every Sunday with live music and an extensive amount of food from scrambled eggs to roast beef. I got the pleasure of having breakfast in the Winter Garden the morning after my stay and I am torn as to what was more gorgeous the vast amount of food (you really are spoilt for choice) or the beautiful settings. Both breakfast and champagne brunch are open to visitors as well as guests. During the evening I attended a lovely dinner at TwoTwentyTwo a Modern-European restaurant and bar, situated in The Landmark London see my review hereAfternoon tea lovers fear not! You can also experience afternoon tea at The Landmark London see here

The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and hospitable, they really couldn’t do more for you. For a hotel that caters to many guests, they ensure to make your stay feel comfortable and personal. Greeted at the hotel entrance by my name on arrival, I was impressed to see The Landmark London take such recognition to the importance of their guests. I recommend the hotel for meetings and relaxed socialising, however, if you’re  looking for a buzzing bar to be drinking until the early hours of the morning  you can find yourself at the Mirror Bar. The Landmark also offers a spa, gym and conference rooms.

Mixing luxury and festivities, who knew it could be so fun. I think I may have discovered my new pre-Christmas tradition! Not forgetting my discovery of a new hang-out, The Landmark London is great for business meetings and socialising.

Will I be back
There’s no question about it! Although I stayed over the festive period I highly recommend The Landmark London as somewhere to stay and to dine throughout the whole year, especially to those who have a love for classic hotels.
